Be a tourist for the day and take a drive to the North Shore's Sunset Beach. Then head on over to Matsumoto or Aoki's Shave ice for a cool treat and Cholo's Mexican for lunch or dinner. New boutique Guava Shop is a must go to and check out Growing Keiki for baby & kids.

{KAILUA BEACH & EATS}

Rent a canoe starting from $40, and paddle out to a little island for a picnic at Oahu's most beautiful beach. Stop at Kailua Town for some dessert at Ed's Bakery, shop at Baby Showers for kid's clothes, or try Lanikai Juice's famous Acai Bowl! Mmmm! Further up is Windward Mall, and their famous Hot Dog on a stick!

{WAIKIKI BEACH & EATS}

Locals head to the "walls" at the end of Waikiki Beach, or go a little further up by the Aquarium to Kaimana Beach. Teddy's Bigger Burger is right across the zoo, or get a cool treat at Haagen Daz or Cold Stone. For an ocean view lunch or dinner, go to Tiki's Grill & Bar.

{HANAUMA BAY & EATS}

First time locals will have to sit through a video before getting in, but if you plan on going back again, just sign their book, and you canhead straight to the beach! Be sure to bring your snorkel so you can swim with the fishies, rentals are also available. Price: FREE for Kama'ainas. Stop by Koko Marina Shopping center for Kozo Sushi, Teddy's Bigger Burgers & Kokonut's Shave Ice (Where President Obama was seen having shave ice with his family!).
