Bishop Museum's "The Sky Tonight"
When: On the first and third Fridays of each month from 8:00 p.m.
Tickets: $6 for adults, $4 for ages 4-12. Reservations recommended.
Admission is free for Bishop Museum members and members of the Hawaiian Astronomical Society. Bishop Museum members: please have your membership number ready when you call.

Telescope viewing is offered after the program depending upon weather conditions that evening.
The Sky Tonight is hosted by Barry Peckham, the vice-president of the Hawaiian Astronomical Society.
Important note: Please arrive by 7:45 p.m. There is no late seating for this program, since the show is performed in an extremely dark room!

Dole Plantation - Pineapple Express

Description: Perfect for children who love Thomas the Tank Engine!
This 2 mile, 20 minute narrated train ride takes you through the
plantation's pineapple, mango, coffee, and cacao fields, and provides
a dose of Hawaii's agricultural history along with stunning views of
the North Shore.

Honolulu Zoo - Dinner Safari
Join us for an evening of tours and delicious food as we explore the Zoo first at twilight and then with red-filter flashlights. The program begins at 6 pm and ends at 10 pm. The pre-dinner tour will give you a glimpse of the Zoo, followed by a more thorough look after dinner.
Dinner is buffet style and includes salad, fruit salad, rice, chicken, vegetarian pasta, pizza, and cookies. The evening concludes with camp fire time where we roast marshmallows, make S’mores, and have the chance to see and touch some animal skulls, skins, feathers and eggs. This program is geared to those who do not wish to Snooze at the Zoo, but are looking for a fun evening adventure instead. Dinner Safari is recommended for adults and families with children ages 4 and up.
Time: 6-10 p.m.
Cost: $40 per person ages 4 and up
Members: $35 per person ages 4 and up

able to make it to the zoo during regular weekday hours. Enjoy the

Description: Marine lovers can observe the way that ocean critters
have adapted to eating in captivity and then get a chance to feed them
themselves at the Edge of the Reef Exhibit. Recommended for children

Discover if fish sleep, sea snails snooze or weedy seadragons doze on an after-dark flashlight tour of the Aquarium.
Find the sleeping spot for the rockmover wrasse. What color are yellow tangs at night? Minimum age 5 years; youngsters must be accompanied by an adult. $10/adult, $7/child ($14/10 for non-members). Don't forget your flashlight!

Waikiki Aquarium - Seasons and the Sea

As the sun sets into the crown of Pu'u o Kapolei, the beginning of the season of warmth, or kauwela, begins. Through chant, hula and mo'olelo, Halau Mele will interpret the meaning of this important event. The gathering will be in the park on the 'ewa side of the Aquarium. Bring a chair or a beach mat. Open to all ages. Free. Pre-registration not required.
